Peter Swan

Peter Swan was born in South Africa, where he grew up on a farm.

He is a Transcendental Meditation teacher and has taught has taught 4,000 people TM.

In 1983/84 he led a project in rural South African schools in which 10,000 students and their teachers were taught Transcendental Meditation.

After graduating as a Maharishi AyurVeda Consultant in 1990 he practised for 10 years with over 1,000 patients.

Peter had the good fortune to work for eight years under Maharishi’s direct guidance on Vedic agriculture projects on four continents. During that time under our farm projects were moved away from ploughing to no-till, shallow-till with compost and compost tea treatments.

During that time Peter studied with leading organic farmers, researchers, and teachers in Europe, USA, and Latin America, to discover the best farming and gardening methods and practices to improve crop quality and yield, and soil quality, and reduce work and pollution.

Maharishi asked Peter to develop a course on organic agriculture and gardening, and he has taught this course since 2008 in over 30 countries with excellent results. Farmers and gardeners find they get better quality and higher yields with much less work, while improving their soil year by year.

Peter also integrated the foundations of Vedic agriculture and and modern science to show how the structure of Rik Veda is expressed in the soil and plant nutrient cycle.
